Attendance Present: Carol, Leticia, Dan, Scott, Sherri, Don, Linda, Rich, Brian, George, Rosie Absent: Larry S., Larry M, Miguel, Tim, Excused: Gina, Joe, Allen Guests: Hedi Elston, Audrey
Meeting topic: Guest speaker Audrey did a presentation on adding your business to Face Book. She said you need to set up a personal page before you can set up a business page. A personal page only needs to consist of your name, e-mail address, and a phone number. A business can not add friends, so it is best to find friends from your personal page where you can search for friends and then once you have friends you can suggest your business page to your friends for them to “like”. Once you have 25 likes on your business page you can go into account help, and look up username, and see if your business name is available as a simple way for people to find your business on Face Book. Audrey offered her services to help guide you through setting up a Face Book page for a reasonable fee of $20 to our members!! She has our complete power point presentation on our website http://tahoebusinesses.com
Next Meeting: Guest speaker, George – Tahoe Computer Solutions with more valuable information about computers related to business. We will have a board meeting after our regular meeting at 9:00a.m.
Business of the week: Winters Electric. Next Week, Robert Klemer – Fine Jewelry
