*Clarify 1 year rule before moving forward…Group will schedule a date for a vote on this policy. *Sponsored members- bring up to club first, before inviting. Then we send separate e-mail on potential membership and request contacting board by phone if there are any reservations prior to 12 noon the Tuesday before the next meeting. *After the potential member attends the first meeting they are given an application for the group to review their website, background, references and any potential conflicts. *We need to draft some language for “conflict” to existing membership.

Announcements: Next week Leticia is going to pass around a get well card around for the group to sign and send to Vince. Gear up for the Amgen tour of CA. The Tribune is reserving advertising spots in the Official Program keepsake. Call 541-3880.
Elections: We have a need for a president. Joe, our treasurer is only temporarily filling in and will be taking a leave of absence this summer.
Speaker: Robert Klemer was our speaker today. He sells automobiles for Cardinale Way, and fine gold jewelry. If you are looking for a car Robert can help you, not only with Toyota, but many other brands as well. He is a broker for Subaru and Cardinale can also match or beat any price on Audi, Mazda, Nissan, Honda, GMC and Hundi. They can have the make, model and color equipped to your liking for you within 24-48 hours. They even sell Honda snow blowers and generators! A little known fact about purchasing from Robert is that you will save over $400. If you purchase in Nevada, they tack on large hidden document fees and smog fees and make you process your own registration. With Robert there is only a $55 document fee and your car is registered and good to go out the door so you save by purchasing from Robert and he can match any price! Living in Douglas or El Dorado County is another advantage since we are taxed where we live. We have lower sales tax rates than other areas of CA and NV and the tax revenue stays in our communities. Cardinale is an authorized agent for NV DMV. Robert also enjoys selling gold jewelry by appointment and he just finished writing his 3rd novel. Wow!
Next Meeting: March 9th. Nancy from the city of SLT will be our guest speaker. Joe is confirming that with her, and Joe will run the meeting.
Old Business: Sheri is wrapping up our coupon book. We should have it printed in time for the Tahoe Chamber Business Expo on March 25.
Tim from Winter’s Electric is going to have a booth there and kindly offered to display our exciting new coupon book to promote our group. The Expo prep workshop is this Thursday morning through TahoeChamber.org
New Business: An idea was presented to have a meeting on advanced marketing our businesses through Face Book more effectively. Our LTBRN website now has 38 “likes” on Face Book! “Business of the week:” this week was Linda from Farmers Insurance. Next week will be Gina from the G-Team. The following week will be Brian from Overland Meat!
